The Fleet Amphibious Force (FAF) is responsible for projecting military power from the sea to hostile, or potentially hostile, shores. Typically, amphibious operations include ROD Marine Corps units, but other branches of the ROD military are capable of operating from FAF ships as well, like the SHAMs for example. Amphibious landings are the FAF's forte, but the incredible flexibility of Amphibious Ready Groups mean that FAF formations can be used for a multitude of situations around the globe. FAF Headquarters is the Naval Amphibious Base (NAB) adjacent to naval Station Saint Catherine.
