Dalmatian Intelligence Service

The Dalmatian Intelligence Service (DIS) is an organization steeped in mystery. It is responsible for obtaining intelligence at all levels, keeping foreign actors from obtaining intelligence on the ROD, and taking direct action based on accurate intelligence.

The DIS is divided into two sections: Espionage and Tactical
The espionage section is responsible for conducting espionage and counter-espionage. These are the spies and spooks that creep around in the shadows and meet foreign operatives in seedy bars in third world countries. It's a dirty job but someone has to do it!
The tactical section (called the Field Force) is responsible for conducting field operations to obtain intelligence and to take direct action against enemy forces and ambiguous foreign entities. These are special forces operatives - like the green berets but better looking.
No one knows how many people the espionage section has working for them, but the Field Force operates with a standard military structure.
Tactical Team
The primary DIS operational unit is the 15-man tactical team (capable is splitting into three 5-man teams.

Tactical Company
Four tactical teams, plus a 10-man support team and a 15-man HQ element form a Tactical Company (85 personnel).

Commando Battalion
Four tactical companies, plus a 100-man support company and a battalion HQ form a Commando Battalion (450 personnel).

Commando Group
Three commando battalions, plus a HQ element, forms a Commando Group (1,600 personnel).
There are 9 Commando Battalions in the DIS Field Force. Each battalion specialized in a specific geographic region or environment.
