Operation Okapi - Phase II

This morning Phase II is underway for ROD troops in the DRC. The 56^th Airlift Squadron has arrived from the ROD carrying additional personnel and equipment, to include a company of paratroopers and personnel from the 42^nd Theater Support Battalion.

The paratroopers from F Company / 2^nd Battalion / 15^th Parachute Infantry Regiment have already moved east with support personnel to establish FOB Ngulu near the city of Kisingani in the Tshopo Province.

With both bases established, ROD Air Force aircraft will continue to bring additional personnel in, but they will also begin to deliver food and medical supplies now that warehouses can be secured.
